Foundations Built for Pinellas County's Hurricane Zone

Pinellas County sits in one of Florida's most active hurricane corridors. Foundations here must meet Florida Building Code requirements for high-wind zones, which exceed the standards used in most other states. Every foundation we pour is designed to meet or exceed these requirements — not the minimum standard from a catalog.

What We Pour Foundations For

  • Residential additions and room expansions
  • Pool cage and screen enclosure concrete bases
  • Accessory structures (sheds, garages, workshops)
  • Outdoor kitchen and pergola footings
  • Generator pads and mechanical equipment bases
  • Seawall and dock approach slabs

Pool Cage Concrete Bases

Pool cage foundations are a specialty of ours on Gulf Blvd. The base anchors and foundation posts of a pool cage are exposed to constant salt-air and must be poured with appropriate mix design to resist chloride-induced corrosion of embedded anchor bolts and hardware. We use non-ferrous or hot-dipped galvanized hardware in foundation work near the coast.

Permitting and Inspections

Foundation work in Pinellas County requires permits and inspections. We handle the permit process and schedule required inspections to ensure your project is fully code-compliant and insurable.
